June 6th. A hard day. Dark, gloomy, threatening rain. 16 miles with the last four a steep, rocky climb. Very few photos. He’s is very tired, but excited about tomorrow’s journey. Although it will start with more steep climbing, it will peak at the Cruz de Ferro, the Iron Cross. The place where pilgrims lay down what is most on their hearts. It is the highest point of the pilgrimage after the Pyrenees.

P.S. He did enjoy a big carb loaded dinner to prepare for tomorrow. A plate of pasta with spaghetti sauce for a starter, then a meatballs with spaghetti sauce covered in french fries.
Rest well, Glenn. Buen camino!
