Glenn left at sunrise again today to get started on the 18 miles and to try and beat the heat. He finished up at 1 PM and said that last hour was really hot. But, what a pleasant surprise when he checked into his small hotel. The host handed him a cold beer! And his room has A/C! I spoke with him a little after 8AM and he’d already had a nap in a cool room. He could see some interesting caves in the cliffs at the edge of town. Not sure what they were/are for, but current buildings are right up against them.

And of course, one of the best joys at the end of a long hot day is getting together with fellow peregrinos and share stories of the journey.
Buen camino, Glenn!
