Sunday’s update on Glenn’s travels…
Pamplona to Puente La Reina today and another almost 24 kilometer walk, again more up and down hills than he thought. Some downhills were marked dangerous, and slowed his walk. The hiking poles he purchased in St. Jean PDP are coming in very handy. Met wonderful people to share the road with today too. Good lunch together along the way and a nice albergue tonight with a private room and bath. The next stop in Estella is for two nights and a planned rest day. He said he might use the 5 Euro transport option of his backpack tomorrow to ease the way. Many albergues have this service that gets your backpack to the next night’s reserved hotel or hostel.
